A Father’s Day celebrated LB style
Because no one could ever fill Dad’s shoes
Do you remember our special edition blog for Mother’s Day? Well it’s now time for our employee’s dads to be in front of the camera to celebrate Father’s Day. We had so much fun photographing Paul, Elliott, Michael and their daughters – they looked like real pros! We asked the fathers to select the shoe brand they would like to wear with their child for the shoot. We loved hearing if these brands evoked memories from their youth or if it was simply one of their favourites. At the end of their day, we gifted the pairs of sneakers to the dads. Keep reading to find out what the dads thought of their day.

What do you cherish most about your relationship?
The fact that we are somewhat similar, we have many things in common.
How was the experience shooting with LB and your daughter?
I loved it!
Why did you choose the brand New Balance?
Because they are trendy and comfortable.
Do you want to share a memory you have with Brooke?
The most recent one is when we went on vacation in the Dominican Republic, it was really nice !

Happy Father’s Day! Do you guys have anything planned?
I’m going brunching with my daughters.
How was the experience shooting with LB and your daughter?
I am terrible at posing for photographs. Totally unnatural – but the pros in the Little Burgundy studio were great. The stylist was right on with the clothing she chose for me- so much so that my other daughters thought I was wearing my own clothes. And the photographer put me at ease and coaxed some half-decent poses from me!
Did you ever wear that brand when you were younger? Can we find this brand in your closet today?
Yes. And yes it is now in my closet as Little Burgundy let me keep the shoes!
Do you want to share a memory you have with Isabel?
We both love travel and last year for her birthday I surprised her with a business class lie flat pod on a flight home from Rome. It made her day and it made me feel great to see her so happy.
Once Courtney, our Digital Marketing Specialist, and her dad Michael slipped on their pairs of Vans, they formed the cutest duo.
What do you cherish most about your relationship?
We get along so great! I cherish everything about her, everything she does is perfect and I’m so proud of her.
How was the experience shooting with LB and your daughter?
Oh my god! So proud that we made the front page of the website. I enjoyed it and the people working were very nice. And it’s nice to have those pictures for the future.
Why did you choose the brand Vans?
Because I thought the style was really nice. I wear them all the time. They’re very comfortable and make me feel young 😉
Do you want to share a memory you have with Courtney?
Me and Courtney went to Nashville in March and it was the first vacation I took in a really long time. It was nice to spend time with her since we’re both very busy and I got my dream cowboy boots!
