Little Burgundy x DDOOGG

In honour of our latest campaign, we reached out to Vancouver-based independent experimental-comics press, DDOOGG, and asked them to create original illustrations inspired by our FW19 themes of self-expression and maximalism. Check out what they created.

Check out the independent experimental-comics press’ take on our FW19 campaign themes.

Our piece was based on the phrases given to us, that of “self-expression” and “being extra”. We tried to represent an entity who begins to conceive of themselves as not merely a discrete unit, but rather a series of processes that extend beyond the scope of a segregated individual. Upon the realization that the self is a perpetual flux of matter, energy, and information, the entity becomes invaded by mutations from The Outside. The entity blissfully welcomes this accelerated transition: a vector for pure potential, aberrant flows of multitudinous matter and viral cosmic chemistry–their subjectivity blooming exponentially into oblivion.—DDOOGG
